American DJ and electronic music producer Marshmello released the music video for his latest single Light It Up, featuring rapper Tyga and singer-songwriter Chris Brown on Thursday, 25 April 2019.
The single was accompanied by the music video on the day of its release. The music video is set in a club and features the three artists arriving and performing at the Marshmello celebration party, where he gets a cake that is made to look like his famous head cover. In the music video, they feature a predominantly female crowd to go with the theme of the lyrical content of the song.
The upbeat, heavy on the 808 song has a catchy and repetitive chorus which encourages the women at the club to have fun and let go of their inhabitations. Light It Up marks the first collaboration between the three artists.
