Australian band Northlane released the music video for their song Bloodline on Monday, 29 April 2019.
Bloodline stays true to the band’s hardcore metal sound, featuring an electric guitar riff as the band’s vocalist Marcus Bridge screams, “I was raised in hell but I made it out.”
The music video for Bloodline sees the band work with regular collaborator Jason Eshraghian, who directed the visuals, which showcases an abusive relationship between a father and son.
In an article published by Kerrang on Monday, 29 April 2019, Bridge commented on the video stating:
“It talks about that idea of growing up in a broken home despite all odds and what might be expected of someone who grows up like that. You are able to be what people think of you and break out of that spiral, that terrible world.”
