Popular Pixar animation series Toy Story is bringing its fourth installment, Toy Story 4, to South Africa this Friday, 21 June 2019.
It has been nine years since viewers bid a heart-breaking farewell to Andy in 2010’s Toy Story 3, now the gang is back and settling into their new home with their friend Bonnie. The official trailer for Toy Story 4 sees fan-favourites Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Bo, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head and Slinky Dog as well as Bonnie’s new favourite handmade toy, Forky.
The storyline seems to revolve around Forky and his escape from the family RV as they are en route vacation. Woody chases after Forky in an attempt to rescue him and convince him that he is destined to be Bonnie’s favourite toy. The plot goes through several twists and turns, with Woody being tempted by a life outside of the toy room.
