Cape Town-born rapper, YoungstaCPT, has released the music video for his latest single, ‘VOC (Voice Of The Cape),’ which is the second single taken off his upcoming debut album, ‘3T.’
The music video evidently pays tribute to where he grew up, as it is shot in various locations around Mitchells Plain. As with his previous releases, the rapper expresses himself honestly, and proudly represents his home city.
A very prominent feature of the music video is the Jack Lemkus store, as YoungstaCPT performs parts of the song while sitting on the roof of the popular sneaker shop.
In response to a comment from a fan on Twitter on Monday, 31 December 2018, the rapper shared that he featured the shop in his music video because he spent a huge part of his childhood window-shopping at Jack Lemkus.
