Who is leaving Generations: The Legacy in 2020?

Published on

Generations: The Legacy is one of SABC 1’s long-running soapies, and has refreshed its 2020 cast to include new characters and departures from some of the most iconic ones.

Generations: The Legacy, which airs weeknights on SABC 1, will see many characters exiting the storyline in 2020. Firstly, Rapulana Seiphemo, who assumed the role of Tau Mogale prior to his new role on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen as Hector Sebata. Vusi Kunene, who takes on the character of Jack Mabaso, is also rumoured to be exiting, after appearing on the show since 2016. The actor is said to have taken on a full-time role on Gomora, and is suspected to be the second actor, following Rapulana, to have resigned for a role on Mzansi Magic.

Another actor speculated to be leaving the show is Vuyo Dabula, who assumes the role of Gadafi, as he recently starred in Netflix’s first original African series, Queen Sono. Generations: The Legacy recently welcomed Letoya Makhene back into the storyline, after she left the show briefly in 2019.
