Why Devon left Letterkenny

Even though it is unclear why Devon left the Canadian comedy series, Letterkenny, it is speculated that he left the series as he only played a minor character.

Letterkenny is a Canadian masterpiece that has won the hearts of comedy fans all over the world.

The series began as a YouTube web series titled Letterkenny Problems, and it was commissioned as a television series in March 2015. Since then, it has evolved into a beloved hit which has solidified a significant viewership.

The popular television series resolves around the tiny town of Letterkenny. It features people with diverse habits, such as the skids, hicks, and the hockey players.

Devon, played by Alexander De Jordy, made his debut in the comedy series in the first episode. He also formed part of the skids. The skids are a group of goth outcasts led by Steward, whose lives centre on drugs, video games and music.

The group mostly spent its time in Stewart’s basement or in the parking lot of the dollar store. Since Devon is Stewart’s childhood friend, he takes on the role of Stewart’s right hand.

Devon quickly became a fan-favourite character. Therefore, it came as a big shock when Devon abruptly left in the St. Perfect Day episode.

Devon only appeared in two seasons. Fans all over the world were left wondering why Alexander decided to leave Letterkenny.

It is still unclear why Devon left Letterkenny. However, it is speculated that Alexander left because he was a minor character. Minor characters do not play major roles, and most are eliminated before the end of the series.

Even though fans fell in love with Devon during the first and second season, he had to exit so that Stewart’s role would be cemented as the main character.

However, fans did not expect Devon’s exit to happen so abruptly. Many fans believe that the creators of the series wanted to leave their audience in suspense.

It is unknown if Alexander will return as Devon in Letterkenny.
