Wu-Tang Clan, Florence + The Machine and Foals to headline Boardmasters 2019
British festival Boardmasters has announced its official line-up for this summer’s festival, due to take place from Wednesday, 7 August 2019 to Sunday, 11 August 2019.
Boardmasters is a wholistic, all-inclusive festival that brings people together to experience some of the best and most legendary musical acts in the world. The unique festival offers festival-goers a unique experience where they are able to engage in a variety of different activities in Cornwall’s Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay in Newquay.
The musical aspect of the festival begins on Friday, 9 August 2019, with Wu-Tang Clan headlining. They share the line-up with acts like The Wombats, DJ EZ, Razorlight, The Hunna, Bear’s Den, Claude Vonstroke and special guest, Giggs.
Florence + The Machine headline on Saturday, 10 August 2019, alongside Dizzee Rascal, Jax Jones and Martin Sloveig’s Europa, Franz Ferdinand, My Nu Leng & Dread MC, Sam Fender and a special guest DJ set from Rudimental.
Foals headline the festival’s final day on Sunday, 11 August 2019, alongside Jorja Smith, Plan B, Wilkinson back to back with Sub Focus, Slaves, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Bugzy Malone and Lewis Capaldi. Many more artists feature on the line-up performing across 12 stages.
Wu-Tang Clan have been growing from strength-to-strength throughout 2019 since the release of their four-part Showtime docuseries Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men and its accompanying seven-track EP of the same name. The Of Mics and Men EP featured a new track from the group titled On That Sht Again, featuring RZA and Ghostface Killah.
