Zodwa Wabantu proudly boasts about her new Nelspruit home

Zodwa Wabantu took to social media to share an image of her newly-built house in Nelspruit to show off the fruits of her labour and to motivate her followers.

South African socialite, MC and dancer Zodwa Wabantu recently took to Instagram to show off her new house as a motivation to other people, she noted. The three-bedroom house is in Nelspruit, where Zodwa plans on settling down once she feels she is financially stable to do so. The socialite has been in the headlines numerous times for her revealing outfits and has often been accused of not being an exemplary role model to the youth.

“Do you know what is the best thing about my house? I built it from scratch, I own it. I don’t owe the bank or anyone. That house is in my name. It makes me so happy because I now have a home, my home and it’s something I was always told I’d never have,” she said.

She went on to say that what mattered the most to her was not necessarily the size or cost of the house, but rather, the fact that from here onwards she would never be destitute.

“If you grew up like I did, then you will understand how amazing it feels to have a home. I never had one from the time my mom dies when I was eleven. I stayed in other people’s houses but I never really had a home,” the dancer said.

She went on to say that she chose to build the house in Nelspruit as that is where her aunt is, a woman she says is close to her heart.
