South African entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu, took to social media on Thursday, 4 July 2019, to announce her latest vehicle purchase, a Volkswagen minibus.

Popular entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu, has shared through her Instagram account that she has bought herself a new mini-bus on Thursday, 4 July 2019. The star shared the news through a series of images after the minibus arrived from Witbank. The vehicle is a Volkswagen Caravelle Pan Americana, and is valued at just under R1 million.

On the motor dealership’s website, the minibus is described as, “,,, so comfortable that you won’t even care about your destination: whether you’re going away for the weekend, taking a spontaneous city break, or visiting family and friends.”

The last celebratory caption on the arrival of her new purchase read as follows, “Brand new Zodwa Wabantu bus. No shareholders. Mine.” The post received over 10 000 likes. In her follow-up post, she revealed that she is looking for someone to brand both her minibus and her personal car.

Zodwa Wabantu continued to show the value of having one’s own money. After sharing the news of her new purchase, the entertainer shared a video from her Moja Love reality show, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored, of the time when she went shopping for her engagement ring. In the video clip, the star can be heard jokingly claiming  that because she is spending her own money, if she were ever to lose her wealth, she could pawn the ring.

She reiterates the sentiments in the caption for her latest purchase, writing, “When I’m not worried about life at all. Buy cash. Pawn if life gives you sh*t. It’s on my name.”
